Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from - that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

“Well, we are not likely to know more tonight, at any rate,” said Bathsheba. “But one of you had better run across to Farmer Boldwood’s and tell him that much.”

From Far from the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy, p. 117.

Somehow I've managed to avoid reading this one all these years. But I really like Hardy, so one of these days I'll get to it! Nice teasers.

Good teaser. I'm with everyone else - I've been wanting to read it but never have. Thanks for this little taste to remind us all.
