Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

  • Grab your current read.
  • Let the book fall open to a random page.
  • Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  • You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from - that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

“Naw, my dear,” said the driver. “Wales is where England runs out.”

From Slammerkin by Emma Donoghue, p. 137.

Now that's a really funny teaser! And a book I'm not familiar with.

Nice teaser. I have the book but I haven't read it yet, so I'll be curious to know what you think of it.

Oh, I've heard about this book, but I don't really know much about it. I'll check it out in amazon. Hope you're enjoying it. =)

I wonder what the Welsh would think of such a sentiment? And I'm loving the book.
